Fit notes for men
- Every men’s style is wider than a conventional men’s shoe. If you normally size up just to get more width, you may not need to here.
- Leather and canvas can give a little during the first few wears, so do not buy bigger for stretch.
- Narrow feet? Many men fit well in a women’s style. Size up by 1.5 — a men’s 7 is about a women’s 8.5.
- Room up front is a personal choice. Some like toes close to the end, others prefer 0.5–1.5 cm of space.

Fit notes for women
- Every women’s style is wider than a conventional women’s shoe. If you usually size up for width, you may not need to here.
- Wider feet? Many women fit well in a men’s style. Size down by 1.5 — a women’s 8.5 is about a men’s 7.
- Natural materials like leather and canvas may stretch a little at first, so buy your measured size rather than a smaller one.
- Room up front is a personal choice. Some like toes close to the end, others prefer 0.5–1.5 cm of space.

Fit notes for kids
- Children’s styles are wider than conventional kids’ shoes, so toes can spread the way they are meant to.
- If your child is between two sizes, take the larger one — it leaves wiggle room and a little space to grow.
- Kids sizes run 6 to 13, then youth 1 to 4. A women’s 6 is roughly half a size larger than a youth 4 — a natural step up into adult sizes.
- If the foot is longer than a youth 4, move into the women’s chart, which is narrower and runs longer.
How to measure your foot
Do this once. It takes two minutes and saves a return.
- Measure in the evening, when your feet are at their largest. Wear the socks you plan to walk in.
- Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall. Mark your heel and the tip of your longest toe, then measure between the two marks.
- Measure both feet and use the longer one. Feet are rarely the same size.
- Find that length in the chart above and add 0.5–1.5 cm of space in front of your toes. Between two sizes, go up.
Still unsure? A few styles fit a little differently from the rest, so check the note on the product page before you order. And if you land between two sizes, size up — toes like room, and we would rather you had space than a tight fit.
